a. Knowledge gaining: Students will gain knowledge of the components that make up the earth. The students will watch a short Brain Pop Jr. video introducing the topic. Students will visit websites and interactive game sites which will allow them to learn some basic information and engage with the material.
b. Knowledge organizing: Students will work in groups (formed by the teacher) to organize information. First, students will each use a graphic organizer to organize all their research information, and save the pictures they plan to use on their Wiki.
